Barium Carbonate
Barium Carbonate 98 is a white, fine, chemical powder. It is used as an additive in the brick production. It binds soluble sulphates and prevents secretions (efflorescence) after drying. Therefore, it is used in the production of glasses, frits, glazes and in sanitaryware ceramics.
Barium Carbonate 99 is a white, granular chemical substance. It is used as raw material in the production of special glasses, frits and glazes. It is a barium oxide carrier which optimizes the refractoriness and the workability of the glass.
Barium Oxide is used because of its positive influence on the melting properties and the brilliance of the glass. In this function it substitutes leadoxide.
Barium Carbonate is used in flaconage, TV glass, crystal glass and various special glasses.
