Brown Fused Alumin

Brown fused alumina is a synthetically produced material with Al2O3 content over 95%. Specially selected refractory bauxites are fused in electric arc furnaces. The product has a low content of iron oxide and retains refractoriness up to 1800ºC.

BFA 95 is used in the production of castables and ramming mixes.
