Thermocarbon^®

Thermocarbon^® is a special kind of refractory binder. It is used as a substitute for pitch, phenolic resin and carbonblack.

Thermocarbon^® RC - organic refractory binders for the use in tap hole and runner mixes in the blast furnace zone.

Thermocarbon^® 60H/65H/70H - additives for the use in refractory mixes (LCC, ULCC, NCC and gunning mixes etc.).

Thermocarbon^® 75H / HP150 - additive in phenolic resin bonded mixes and bricks.

Thermocarbon^® is a brand name for high quality, modern organic binders and additives. Based on a wide selection of resins, bituminious and functional fillers, custom made products which meet the highest requirements are manufactured. Thermocarbon® is free of harmful substances and is therefore used as replacement for tar and pitch in refractory products.
