Wollastonite

Wollastonite 95 is a natural calcium meta-silicate (CaSiO3) with good flowability and low fibrosity. The main applications are in the metallurgy and ceramic industry. Ultrafine grades are used as a functional filler. The mineralogical composition shows wollastonite as the main component (~95%) and accompanying minerals as quartz, calcite and diopside at low levels.

OTAFILL is a high aspect ratio wollastonite grade. Mainly used in the building, paint and ceramic industries as functional filler.

OTAVI sources wollastonite from a partner company operating the "Grand Mine" in the Jilin Province, the largest wollastonite mine in China. The deposit is well known for its high purity, containing over 95% wollastonite at the source.
